We are a British Weightlifting certified and licensed Olympic Weightlifting Club In Norwich.

Our focus is on teaching, practicing and perfecting the snatch and clean & jerk, which are the main movements in Olympic Weightlifting. We focus on technical components primarily, and allow the weight to progress naturaly for each individual. We believe in longevity in sport, not rapid solutions. 

​

You'll have the opportunity to join a great community of like minded people, and if you'd like a competition or two. But you don't have to be a competitor to train with us, all are welcome.

Welcome to Mukanda Weightlifting Norwich

 

We are an Olympic Weightlifting Club in Norwich and we are very passionate about what we do.  We aim to create a healthy and welcoming atmosphere that builds long lasting trust. 

 

While we specialise in Olympic weightlifting, our approach is different to one you might have encountered before. We aim to train you as a whole by including functional fitness and accessory training in to our programs. This allows you to choose how much you develop and what path you want to take.

Classes

Mukanda offers a weekly schedule of hourly classes for every level. Classes are a perfect way to start your fitness journey. They are based on a sense of community where you can meet great people and achieve goals as a group.

Our motto is not to separate by abilities but instead, share achievements and create a healthy sense of competition by adapting and celebrating small achievements.

Olympic WEIGHTLIFTING CLASSES

Whether you just want to perfect your form and learn something amazing or commit to a competition, weightlifting is beneficial in many aspects. It has been shown to improve muscular form, strength and mental capacity.

Remote
coaching

Our remote coaching is designed for those looking for a great programme and some coach guidance.  Delivered by an award winning platform, you can progress with an adapted programme made up of 12 week blocks. 

Youth Weightlifting 

Weightlifting can have many benefits for kids, including improved strength, coordination, and bone density.

Our approach is based around safety and building  solid foundations 

WOMens    Weightlifting 

Join our women's weightlifting classes designed to empower and strengthen participants of all skill levels. Experience a supportive environment where you can build confidence, improve technique, and achieve your fitness.
